Material
This anti-corrosion gabion adopts two upgraded high-durability material configurations to adapt to extreme corrosive environments. The first option is heavy hot-dip galvanized steel wire with ultra-thick zinc deposition, which greatly enhances basic anti-rust and anti-corrosion ability. The second premium option is Zn5Al alloy coated steel wire, whose alloy protective layer has denser molecular structure, stronger salt spray resistance and chemical corrosion resistance than single zinc coating. Both materials are made of high-quality low-carbon steel substrate with stable ductility and tensile strength, suitable for intensive double-twist weaving without wire breakage or coating peeling. The upgraded material system effectively resists seawater, saline-alkali soil and chemical volatile corrosion, ensuring long-term structural stability in harsh environments.
Product Application
Targeted at high-corrosion harsh scenarios, heavy zinc coating anti-corrosion gabion is widely used in special environmental protection engineering. It is mainly applicable for coastal seawall anti-scour and anti-corrosion protection, salt lake surrounding slope stabilization and anti-erosion reinforcement, chemical waste landfill isolation and anti-seepage protection, saline-alkali land road slope stabilization and soil fixation, as well as marine aquaculture shore anti-collapsing stabilization, solving the problem of short service life of ordinary gabions in high-salt, acid-base and marine environments.
Production Process
The product adopts rigorous upgraded anti-corrosion production procedures to ensure extreme environmental adaptability: firstly, conduct deep steel wire derusting and long-time high-temperature hot-dip galvanizing or alloy coating treatment to achieve ultra-thick and compact protective layer deposition; secondly, implement precise double-twist weaving technology to produce high-density, high-toughness and anti-break gabion mesh; thirdly, assemble standard flat gabion cages matched with thickened anti-corrosion binding wires for enhanced overall firmness; fourthly, carry out laboratory sampling tests on anti-corrosion performance to screen out unqualified products; finally, adopt professional waterproof bundled packaging to avoid moisture and salt erosion during long-distance transportation and storage.
Precaution for Use
During installation, avoid violent scratching and cutting on the alloy or heavy zinc coating to prevent local protective layer damage and subsequent corrosion. Keep the double-twist mesh structure complete during assembly to maintain integral anti-break performance. Select clean and hard filling stones to reduce mesh friction and wear. For coastal and saline-alkali environment deployment, regularly check mesh coating integrity and knot firmness. Avoid long-term contact with strong chemical corrosives to maintain lasting anti-corrosion performance.
Compare with Other Products
Compared with ordinary conventional galvanized gabions, this heavy zinc and alloy coated gabion has thicker protective layer, far stronger salt spray and acid-base resistance, and much longer service life in corrosive environments.
