Material
This welded mesh adopts high-quality Q195 low carbon steel wire as the core base material, which features fine texture, excellent ductility and stable welding performance, ensuring neat forming and firm welding points during mesh processing. The whole mesh undergoes professional electrogalvanized surface treatment, forming a uniform thin zinc coating with a weight of 20g/㎡. The room-temperature electrolytic plating process ensures a smooth, bright and flawless surface without excessive zinc accumulation or burrs. The thin zinc layer provides basic anti-oxidation protection for the steel wire, preventing ordinary surface rusting in dry and mild environments. The overall material configuration focuses on lightweight performance and economical cost, fully meeting the protection demands of low-intensity indoor and mild outdoor scenarios.
Product Application
With smooth surface, low cost and lightweight advantages, electro galvanized welded mesh is widely used in indoor and mild light-duty scenarios. It is mainly applied for indoor breeding cage mesh to provide safe and smooth isolation for breeding equipment, hardware filter mesh for industrial impurity filtration and screening, shelf backing mesh for commodity support and anti-falling protection, indoor decoration partition for space division and beautification, as well as temporary light-duty indoor isolation for factory and warehouse indoor zoning, satisfying various low-corrosion and low-load mesh usage demands.
Production Process
The product adopts mature and standardized low-temperature electroplating production procedures: firstly, complete fixed-length steel wire cutting and cross welding of horizontal and vertical wires to form preliminary mesh rolls or flat panels; secondly, conduct integral mesh degreasing and acid cleaning to remove surface oil stains, oxide scales and impurities, ensuring clean base for electroplating; thirdly, send the cleaned mesh to a continuous electrolytic zinc plating line for uniform room-temperature zinc coating treatment; fourthly, implement professional passivation treatment to form a protective film and slow down surface oxidation speed; finally, complete drying treatment, quality sorting and finished product classification into rolls or flat panels for packaging and delivery.
Precaution for Use
This mesh with thin electrogalvanized zinc layer is strictly prohibited for long-term use in coastal salt fog, heavy rain and high-humidity corrosive environments to avoid rapid coating failure and rusting. Avoid violent friction and scratching during use to prevent local zinc layer damage and oxidation. Cut and construct gently to keep mesh structure complete. For long-term indoor use, keep the environment dry and ventilated to extend service life. Regularly wipe surface dust to maintain anti-oxidation performance and bright appearance.
Compare with Other Products
Compared with hot-dip galvanized mesh, electro galvanized welded mesh has smoother and brighter surface with lower cost, but thinner zinc layer and weaker anti-corrosion performance, only suitable for mild environments. Different from PVC coated mesh, it has no coating aging and peeling risks with higher surface hardness.
