Material
This electro galvanized steel wire adopts high-quality and standardized raw material matching to ensure fine processing performance. The inner core is made of premium Q195 low carbon steel wire, which features pure steel texture, good ductility and soft mechanical temper, avoiding brittle fracture during repeated bending and weaving. The outer protective layer is a uniform electrolytic zinc layer formed through continuous room-temperature electroplating treatment. The thin and flat zinc coating closely fits the steel substrate, providing basic surface anti-rust and anti-oxidation protection without affecting the wire's original softness and flexibility, fully adapting to fine manual and mechanical processing requirements.
Product Application
Thanks to its bright surface, soft texture and easy processing performance, electro galvanized steel wire is widely applied in fine processing and indoor scenarios. Its main applications include handmade craft weaving, daily wire product deep processing, small hardware accessory manufacturing, indoor conventional binding and fixing, indoor decorative mesh fabrication, as well as small craft frame binding and shaping, occupying dominant advantages in fine and low-corrosion processing fields.
Production Process
The product adopts refined low-temperature electroplating production procedures to guarantee fine appearance and stable quality: firstly, complete multi-pass steel rod wire drawing to process the steel wire into precise finished diameter with smooth surface; secondly, conduct professional degreasing and acid cleaning to thoroughly remove surface oil stains and oxide impurities; thirdly, finish continuous room-temperature electrolytic zinc plating to form uniform bright zinc coating; fourthly, implement passivation treatment to further enhance surface oxidation resistance and color retention; finally, complete drying, wire straightening, precise coiling and standardized finished product packaging.
Precaution for Use
Due to its thin electrolytic zinc layer, this wire is not suitable for long-term humid, rainy or highly corrosive outdoor environments to avoid surface rusting. Avoid excessive stretching and violent twisting beyond the wire's temper limit to prevent deformation or breakage. Store the coiled wire in dry, shady and ventilated indoor environments, and avoid long-term outdoor exposure. Prevent sharp friction and scratching to protect the thin zinc coating and maintain the bright surface finish.
Compare with Other Products
Compared with hot dipped galvanized iron wire, electro galvanized steel wire has a thinner zinc layer, brighter and smoother surface, lower cost and softer texture, but weaker outdoor anti-corrosion and weather resistance, making it only suitable for indoor and short-term use.
